Three new species of Oxyethira Eaton, 1873 (Trichoptera: Hydroptilidae) from New Caledonia

Oxyethira Eaton, 1873 is one of the most diverse genera Hydroptilidae, comprising over 240 species distributed in all biogeographical regions. Here three new (Trichoglene) Neboiss, 1977 are described and illustrated from male specimens collected New Caledonia: O. hamus sp. nov., recognized by hook-shaped apex long inferior appendages lateral view posterior margin segment IX with a trilobed appearance ventral view; rectangulata rectangular shape appendages, which totally fused two pairs small setae on inner face; spiralis strongly curvilinear subgenital process dorsal views spiralling around ejaculatory duct at phallus apex.
